Magic, Chakra, Stones and Tables

A dozen stones are not enough to please all astrology fans, because one has to take into account the rising sign, the moon, the planets and who knows how many other elements.

If we then want a correlation between the stones and our chakras, things get more complicated. First, because I really cannot tell where the colors shown by the vast majority of tables (I hate them) pop out, as they do not reflect neither the Traditional Theory of Colors (that never explains the color “Indigo”, variety of violet invented because the colors must be seven), nor todays’ fashion which, in honor of computer graphics, has invented the colors “Magenta” and “Cyan”. Now where have we heard that a Chakra suits the cyan or magenta color? But the problem is another. Why do I hate tables? First of all, because I do not like to be pigeonholed, and then because I do not want to pigeonhole neither my future nor my dreams. I find it beautiful, legitimate and nice to have a few stones that I feel are “mine”, and I want to make such decision by myself, I’m not going to be addressed by some table behind which, more often than not, there is no serious research, if not a shabby attempt to steal the good faith of common people. If then the tables are based on ancient smoky unidentified texts, I can reassure everyone. I made some simple research; precious stones mentioned in the Bible VARY WITH REFERENCE TO THE TRANSLATION. Let alone those of the Rg Veda or inexistent texts (ajurvedica tradition has been passed down orally for centuries, then that culture was devastated, and attempts at its reconstruction, despite respecting the spirit, I do not think they have identified all stones and found the way they may be used). In short, a table is a “technical” term and, as such, must offer technical documentation, no nonsense, trusting the smoky visions of who knows whom. Even if it where St. Hildegard, if she cannot explain to me the “why” of one stone rather than another, I can say that the stone may well suit you, but for me, I choose it myself! Thank You!

Of corse, tables would be a beauty. Based on one or two elements! Whaam! Here is the stone that will make me smarter. The fact is that I like to be smart on my own! I like stones. Whenever I can, I love to examine them with avid curiosity and as much participation as possible. No matter if I am on a river, in some importers’ warehouse, in the marketplace of an eastern village.  If there is one, or more than one, that moves me, I invite it to part my company for a stretch of our paths, I’d do everything to have it. At this point, I like to quote a passage from the Gospel according to Matthew (13.45-46): “…furthermore, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a merchant in search of fine gems. Once found one of great value, he goes and sells what he has, and buys it.” When the “qualitative” touches the  “quantitative”, this will be nullified. It is therefore unnecessary and out of place to look at a stone on the basis of purely “quantitative” elements, such as those expressed by nonsensical tables (I hate tables).
Much better therefore will be, to put a bit of irrational, personal, chance, and to give in to one’s instinct, be guided by one’s own sensibility, by the spontaneous synchronicity which, if not blocked by foolish influences (or hateful tables), one can trigger between the beauty inherent in that stone, and one’s latent desire to enjoy its company. On this earth we are seven billion. Or, imagine a table with seven billion boxes (pretty stupid hypothesis), or eliminate every table to explain to me what might happen be my personal stone. Fortunately stones are much more than seven billion, and I can choose with a lot of imagination, research, pleasure.
