The Hypercube, or Tesseract, is a representation in two or three dimensions of a cube in four or more dimensions. Not much to say except for: “uh oh, but what is this fourth dimension? There is no such thing as the fourth dimension.” And the easier answer, amply demonstrated by the object of which I speak, is that you are right, there is no fourth dimension, and there are not even the third, the second, the first and even the zero dimensions! The fact is that we are so full of numbers and geometric designs, that we forget that they are abstractions, mathematical make-believes, that can help us (but only up to a point) in the quantitative measurements of our world, but that can not and do not, replace our world. Often the numbers and geometry are taken a bit too seriously, so I built this Hypercube or Tesseract, with which to play with.
(PS: – If you feel like gathering mathematical formulas and fantastic designs, on the Internet you will be satisfied. However, the best explanation can be found here:
